Kidzbe is an enrichment program for children and adults of all fitness levels and abilities. We transform traditional running games and drills, tutoring sessions, art lessons, and music lessons into powerful life lessons. While our students are with us, they are getting a great workout or lesson AND building strength of character

Every student is able to compete and reach the goals they once thought were beyond them. The eight core empowerment principles we selected together create a unique and powerful curriculum. One which combines physical health with strength of character.

At Kidzbe, we believe that everyone needs to work for what they get.

Our students receive something for participating in our program, but they must EARN their end of season medal or artwork. Each season a new goal is set, and our students feel part of a team as they work towards reaching that goal. We will give plenty of second chances, but we will not give a reward to avoid tears.

We teach our students how to handle disappointment and use it as fuel to achieve what is really important to them. When they finally do earn that reward, it will be worth more than gold.

Taryna moved to Liberal, KS from South Africa to study education and fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher. A few years after moving, she graduated from OPSU with a bachelor's degree in education and proceeded to teach elementary school for 4 years before having a beautiful baby girl, who became her motivation for starting Kidzbe. As much as she loves teaching, she missed her little girl every day when she was at work. Now, you will see her beautiful little girl running around Kidzbe, helping out with the classes, and enjoying being surrounding by art and music.

While teaching, Taryna discovered that running can help you feel stronger and more confident. Through running, she built resiliency to overcome physical, mental and emotional hurdles in all areas of her life. Taryna is a strong believer of joyful movement having such a huge impact on mind, body, and soul. This belief is what guided her to create Kidzbe LLC. She is excited to help children use exercising as a tool to grow their confidence and develop a life-long love of fitness and wellness.

She has also always had a love for music and believes that music is an incredibly important part of our everyday lives. She has been playing guitar since she was 8 years old and obtained a lifelong goal of learning how to play piano while being a school teacher. She believes that music is used for people to express many things that can't be expressed through words alone, gives people the confidence needed for other activities, and helps stimulates the brain to encourage learning. So, she decided to add music lessons to the program to encourage students to challenge themselves musically, expand their horizons, as well as have the opportunity to play and listen to the beautiful playing of guitar, or piano, daily!

Taryna believes that teaching children is the most enjoyable and rewarding profession there is, and she missed begin a school teacher, which is why she also added tutoring sessions to the company. She loves what she does and enjoys meeting new parents and kids along the way. She gets to utilize her passion for fitness and music, and her strong belief in positive self-talk to inspire young minds.
